Chicken Changezi is a very easy to make Indian chicken curry recipe. This chicken curry tastes little bit similar to butter chicken but it is little spicer than butter chick.
Chicken changezi recipe is believed to have originated during 13th century Mongolian warrior, Genghis Khan. From folk tales, Genghis Khan was very much particular about his food and didn't like his food very spicy. One chef prepared this chicken curry in cream and milk instead of using plain water so that spiciness of gravy can be reduced.

This chicken curry recipe is very famous in many areas of Old Delhi, India like Chandni chowk served by many restaurants over there.

Chicken Changezi Recipe Ingredients
Chicken pieces- 500 grams
Onions- 2 (chopped)
Cashew- 8-12 Nos.
Ghee- 1 small cup
Milk- 150-200 ml
Ginger-garlic paste- 2 tbsp
Tomato- 1-2 (chopped)
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Chaat masala- 1 tsp
Fresh cream- 1 small cup
Makhana (lotus seeds/fox nuts)- 7-10
Dry fenugreek (methi) leaves- 2 tbsp
Ginger- 1 inch (sliced finely)
Green chillies- 4 (slit)
Egg- 1-2 (boiled) (optional)
Salt- as per taste
