Easy Cooking Tips For Beginners Who Want To Become Good Cooks

1. Start With An Easy Recipe

Read over the recipe carefully. Familiarize yourself with any cooking tools and cooking terms.

Make sure you have all the ingredients needed before you start cooking.

As you cook more, you will develop more confidence. This will allow you to try more complicated recipes.

2. Marinating Meat is Essential

One of the best cooking tips for flavorful and moist meat is to take the time to marinate.

Remember, the longer you marinate your meat, the more intense and enjoyable the flavor will be.

It’s best to marinate overnight whenever possible and longer is even better.

Just be sure to keep food covered and chilled in the refrigerator as it marinates.

3. Want Tasty Roasted Chicken?

You can make this happen by placing several thick slices of onion in the bottom of your roasting pan, then place the chicken on top of them.

The onion will absorb the chicken juices and create a caramelization on the bottom of the pan.

After roasting, remove the chicken, add a little water to the pan and cook on high heat for a few minutes.

This will create a tasty sauce for your chicken.

4. Broil Steak in Oven for Perfection

First, season meat generously and put it in a broiler pan for even cooking and to catch drippings.

Review the owner’s manual for your oven if you have any questions about how your broiler works.

Place the pan 2 –  4 inches from broiler. Start the timer(keep one handy) when you slide the steak under the broiler.

Follow the timing in your recipe or cooking chart, flipping the beef once halfway through.

Remember, never turn your meat with a utensil that will puncture it. This will cause vital fluid loss. Use a spatula instead.

Check steak a couple of minutes before time is up. Then, let it sit at least five minutes before cutting.

Set it on a serving plate and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.

This step is essential because it helps keep your steak juicy, rather than having all those juices drain out onto your plate.

5.Check Out TV Cooking Shows!

TV cooking shows are great place for getting new recipes and cooking tips. But, they are also fun to watch.

These shows with famous chefs are constantly coming up with new ideas, so you will always be learning something about cooking.

It’s An Absolute Fact -Practice Makes Perfect

Don’t fret! If you need to cook the recipe several times just to get it right-do it.

Jot down notes regarding any important steps about the new recipe you seem to be having problems with.
