Blue Salad & Gelatin Recipe
Blueberry gelatin dessert mix – 1 (6 oz. pkg.)
Curd cottage cheese – 1 (16 oz. container)
Blueberries in syrup – 1 can (16 1/2 oz.) or Frozen blueberries – 3/4 c. (thawed)
Blue food coloring
First, prepare gelatin according to the directions on the package.
In the meantime, chill gelatin for four to five hours or until firm.
Next, scoop cottage cheese into bowl.
Now, drain and set aside the syrup from the blueberries.
Add the berries to the cottage cheese and mix well.
Then, add three drops food coloring to turn the cottage cheese a nice grayish color when blended.
To serve salad, place a few spoonfuls of firm gelatin onto individual plates.
Finally, top with a scoop of cottage cheese mixture and serve.
