Simple Yet Elegant Slow Cooker French Beef Burgundy Recipe

In other words, treat your sweetheart to a romantic meal for two by preparing them this delicious slow cooker french beef burgundy recipe.

Of course, this is the perfect way to show your loved one how much you care. And, you can even spice it up a bit with a romantic dessert for two.

Slow Cooker French Beef Burgundy

Ingredients:

Boneless beef chuck (two pounds)

Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon

Flour – 1/4 cup

Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Bay leaves – 2

Button mushrooms – 8 sliced

Onion – 1 sliced

Garlic – 3 gloves ( minced)

Parsley -1/2 cup (fresh and minced)

Beef broth – 1/2 cup

Burgundy wine – 1 cup

Cooking Directions:

First, you should cut the boneless beef chuck into one inch cubes.

Then, put salt, black pepper and flour in small bowl and mix.

Now, dredge beef cubes in the flour mixture.

Next, pour olive oil in heated skillet, add beef cubes , let cook until browned.

In addition, add the beef, bay leaves, mushrooms, onion, garlic, parsley, beef broth and wine to your slow cooker and mix thoroughly.

Finally, place lid on slow cooker and cook either 4 – 6 hours on low or 2 – 3 hours on high.

Slow Cooker Sweet Sour Beef

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds boneless round or chuck steak, cut into 1-inch cube2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 2 cups pearl onions1 large green pepper, cut into 1-
    inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Shell macaroni and snipped
  • chives (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: In a skillet, brown steak in oil; transfer to a slow cooker.

Step 2: Add the next 10 ingredients; stir well.

Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Thicken
if desired.

Step 4: Serve over macaroni and garnish with chives if desired.

Slow Cooker Shredded Barbecue Beef

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 (3 pound) fresh beef brisket*,
    halve
  • 3 tablespoons liquid smoke
    (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue
    sauce
  • 12 sandwich rolls slit

Directions:

Step 1: Combine the celery salt, garlic powder and onion powder; rub over
brisket.  Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker.

Step 2:Combine liquid smoke if desired and hot pepper sauce; pour over brisket.

Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.

Step 4: Remove roast and cool slightly.  Strain cooking juices, reserving 1/2
cup.

Step 5:Shred met with two forks; place in a large saucepan.  Add the
barbecue sauce and reserved cooking juices; heat through.

Step 6:Serve about 1/3 cu meat mixture on each roll.

Original Slow Cooker Homemade Italian Beef

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 3 (1 ounce) packages dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar pepperoncini peppers
  • 8 hamburger buns, split

Directions:

Step 1: Place the roast into a slow cooker, and season with Italian dressing
mix.

Step 2: Pour in the water. Cover, and cook on High for 6 to 7 hours.

Step 3: During the last hour, shred the meat with two forks – if it does not
shred easily, cook longer.

Step 4:  Add the peppers, and as much of the juice as you like for additional flavor.

Step 5: Serve on buns.

BONUS TIP; Choosing perfect cuts of red meat……

Always  look for a moist, red surface with no signs of drying or surface film when purchasing beef, pork or lamb. The fat should be a creamy white color and should not be dry. As well as, look for even, well-cut meat that is free from sinew and excess fat.

Store meat loosely wrapped on a plate and place in the coldest part of your refrigerator so the air can circulate around it.

Remember, red meat should be either cooked or frozen within 2-3 days of purchase.
